Objectives and goals

At the end of the course, the students will have core competencies in the design and construction of digital automation systems. They will understand how to plan and implement the integration of various automation components and which automation and information technologies are used. Students acquire the ability to recognize and interpret abstract automation and information technology models and to grasp their interrelations in order to create functional automation systems.

Through the exercises, the students are able to deepen their knowledge and skills in a research-oriented way and to apply and evaluate them in complex problems.
